We’re excited to welcome Daniel Holland to the You Can Play team as our new Partnerships Lead!

You Can Play welcomes Daniel Holland as our new partnerships lead.

Daniel joins You Can Play at a pivotal moment in our work, as we continue to expand from awareness-driven efforts toward deeper, system-level impact across sport. He brings more than two decades of experience in partnership development, revenue generation, and inclusive communications; helping organizations translate purpose into meaningful, measurable change.

His background spans amateur and professional sport, nonprofit, and private sector work, including leadership roles with the Federation of Gay Games and the Canadian Gay (Tennis) Open. He has also spent the past decade building an ESG and inclusive communications consultancy, supporting purpose-driven organizations and strengthening partnerships across sectors.

Daniel’s work will focus on strengthening and diversifying partnerships, building sustainable relationships, and expanding You Can Play’s reach across leagues, brands, and community organizations. His approach aligns closely with our vision: creating safer, more inclusive sport environments through collaboration, education, and long-term investment.

As our COO Kurt Weaver shared, Daniel brings “a unique combination of experience, relationships, and perspective” that will help us continue to grow our impact and build toward lasting change.
